I've just read your comments in the HDM http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...allot-season/story-20098583-detail/story.html and to be quite honest, IMHO, you are digging a very deep hole for yourself. 1. Many people are against the name change. 2. Some are ambivalent and would probably be grudgingly accepting of it, however you, judging by your comments, seem to be in a very small minority that is 3. actively encouraging it. For the record I see myself as being in group number two, I would very grudgingly accept the name change, however in a poll I would never dream of ticking the 'yes to name change' box, and my consolation would be that the name would almost certainly be changed back at a later date by a more savvy owner.

In answers to some of your comments:-

Hr is called Assem. His son is called Ehab. - No **** Sherlock!

When the dim reporters refer to Allam who the beep are they on about ? Pot, kettle, black?

Show some respect and use Assems name when you mean Assem Allam. - What, you mean like the respect he shown to the clubs supporters?

Our best owner ever....FACT - At the moment, and based purely on football success, it would be very hard to disagree with this point but that could all change very quickly

To many of this CTWD group are just Anti Assem Allam henve no way do they speak for me....many of them cried the day Nicky Barmby was sacked and hurled abuse at Mr Allam calling for NB to be given the managers job back and wanting Mr Allam out. - I think you'll find many were aghast at, and against, how a local hero appeared to have been treated so shoddily, it appears that you have forgotten that here was a guy that CHOSE to play for us in his footballing prime, at the age of 29. He could have gone to many other teams for much more money yet he chose to help us on our way to the promised land. How short your memory really is!

Yet Steve Bruce shut them up as as he took us back up.. - That doesn't alter the fact that many still have a bitter taste in their mouth at how Nick Barmby was treated, furthermore your comment stinks of 'do what you want to us Pappa, as long as you keep us in the PL I really don't care!

Many of these CTWD lot were not around in the dark days of crowds below 4,000.... - This, quite honestly, is the point where I begin to wonder if you've lost your marbles, personally I think you'll find exactly the opposite of your comment is much closer to the truth!

Hull City / Hull Tigers so what. - Because the majority of us, seemingly unlike yourself, are not willing to sell our souls for what could easily be a first step on the road to ruin. You think I'm wrong? Show me some evidence that the name change would be beneficial in any way, shape or form!

Right now we have our best manager ever....our best team ever.....our best owners ever..... - As I've said, things change quickly in football.

Everything the Allam family have done has worked out great.... - Yeah? What do you mean like the 'professional' way in which they dealt with the negotiations when wanting to buy the KC, or should that be 'given' the KC, or the way in which Mr. Allam SR says one thing and then blatantly goes and does another, and then goes on the explain it all away by shouting and blustering statements through an entertained media such as 'nobody has the right to question me on how I run my businesses, no one in the world'

    UTT

I'm not going to address every point but I'll make an attempt at addressing the most whacky! :-

    TIGERscarboro | Tuesday, November 19 2013, 9:25AM

IF the Allam Family had not sacked NB and got us back into the premierleague 5,000 of our present season ticket holders would NOT have bought a season ticket

If we had gone down to league one 10,000 people would NOT have bought a season ticket.

IF there is a vote just remember many of you would NOT be going to the footy if it wasnt for the Allams bringing success to the club. - Seriously, the above comments make me envisage you as some kind of little elf dressed in a little green uniform with a pointy little hat. Own up, you are Pappa's Little Helper aren't you.

City till we die group ?

But where was you when we was garbage ? - I would highly suspect that they were all in the same place as you, watching and supporting our team!

That sounds like a quote from somebody from the Bronx. We have never been 'garbage', just 'not as good as everybody else'.

The most farcical thing, is that every member of the CTWD committee are long standing City fans, who were definitely there when we were **** and ate still going home and away now, just as they were then.

Though this isn't quite as sickly as last season, when you were on the Leicester board every week telling them you were looking forward to them being promoted.

You've lost the plot Filey , the CTWD people I know are exactly the ones who supported Hull City when we were getting crowds of less than 5k at BP

There are some posters who seem to support the owners more than the club. No matter what Allam comes up with or what ridiculous sound bite he comes out with they will always support it. Some of them readily admit that it doesn't matter what they think of an idea; if Allam likes it they'll trust it. None of them wanted a name change until it became obvious Allam wanted to do it.

    Well said.

I'd question why someone would go on the HDM comments pages, copy them all out, then respond to stuff from a different site, out of context on this one. I for one like the guy, and think you should back the **** off him. Some of you are pitiful.

Fileys a decent bloke and a North Hull lad to boot. I think this is an appalling attack on someones opinion, and thats all it is, his opinion.

This thread should be closed. Personal attacks like this are disgusting.

If Filey wants to go round slagging off CTWD members on open forums, then I've no issue with him being pulled up on it.

Happy, you've just been claiming on the other thread that this is a forum for people's opinions to be challenged, you can't have it both ways.

    You've lost it mate.

How is someone wishing a team success sick? Especially when we're not nearly rivals and the surgeon that saved his life supports them <laugh>.

I said sickly, rather than sick, he was wishing you lot well on a daily basis, it made me cringe.

It's fine that he wanted you to do well because his surgeon was a Leicester fan, but even you've got to admit he laid it on a bit thick. I bet his surgeon isn't even a regular poster on your board. <laugh>
