Alright chaps just thought I would let you know that these two are in there last years of there contracts, anyone think they would be good acquisitions to the squad? IMO yes! Starting off with Maynor his form might of dipped a tad over the last 12months but maybe Brucie could get the best out of him again. I would imagine he isn't on the highest wages and on a free transfer I think it would be a good bit of business by Bruce to bring the lad in to challenge Richardson for the left back spot. At the end of the day we need good competition all over the park and those two fighting it out for the left back spot would certainly be an example of that. As for Hugo I like the lad, he is fast, strong and would get a few goals for us IMO. With our pretty unimpressive group of strikers (if being honest) he would be a good acquisition and add something different to what we already have and the good thing about it it would save us a transfer fee and like Maynor I doubt his wages will be above 25-30k. What you think lads?
Not sure about either mate, both playing like they are just going through the motions at Wigan. Would have taken Figueroa when we were linked at the start of the season or was it last season? Think Roddelega will be going abroad after his time here, as for Bruce getting the best out of them it hasn't worked too well with the ex Wigan players we have now so can't see it happening with these two.
No to either mate. I posted a link on your other thread about some freebies, and there are a few who are better on there. These two are no improvement.
