When FIFA asked football federations to bid to host the World Cup in 2022 surely the bids were prepared with June/July being the months which the finals would take place. Having said that, FIFA representatives who "VOTED" for Qatar had definitely not gave the decision must thought, otherwise they would have surely taken the extreme heat into consideration. Now for FIFA to announce that they are going to change the games to November/ December reeks of covering up an almighty F**K UP. In my humble opinion I believe it is time for the bigger football associations to take a stand and tell FIFA where to go. A couple of years ago it was rumoured that Germany were considering a breakaway from FIFA, maybe we may see a rekindling of such a move with other European nations joining in the exodus. I wonder what are other posters views regarding this FIFA circus and what they would like to see happen in the future.

I think this is a prime opportunity for the main FA's to break away and form a new association, one ran by football minded people who aren't ****ing idiots.

It's an opportunity that should not be missed.

I read somewhere blather was once again favourite to win the presidency largely because of the support he has in Asia and Africa. How can he be so blatantly corrupt all his support comes is paid for and it's clear to see I dont think we need a new FIFA but certainly a change at the very top is needed

Totally agree Derek. If any of them weren't corrupt, it would happen.

What I don't get is that you've got these well resourced criminal agencies, like the FBI, etc, not getting involved.

There has to be a reason why national criminal agencies don't take the initiative and initiate investigations, and the only reason I can think of is that every their respective governments, probably with an investment in it, doesn't want that to happen.
