Hopefully the whole corrupt mess that is FIFA will now tumble.
I hope this is like pulling at a thread on a jumper and eventually Blatter gets his just desserts.
They should postpone the elections until there is clarity on SP's part in all of this.

Six Fifa officials, including vice president Jeffrey Webb, have been arrested in dawn raids at a Zurich hotel ahead of Friday's presidential election.
The members of the world governing body were held by Swiss police at the US Department of Justice's request.
Charges are said to include money laundering, racketeering and wire fraud over the last 20 years.
The FBI and the US Department of Justice is to hold a news conference.
The Swiss authorities began their operation to arrest and extradite the Fifa officials to the US early on Wednesday.
Webb, who is also Fifa's head of the confederation for North, Central America and the Caribbean, is one of those held, according to the BBC's Richard Conway in Zurich.
Members of Swiss law enforcement are still present in the hotel but the main activity and arrests now seem to be over, he said.
Fifa general secretary Jerome Valcke briefly visited the hotel this morning but declined to comment.
Current Fifa president Sepp Blatter is to go head-to-head against Prince Ali bin al-Hussein of Jordan in Friday's election.
Prince Ali and his advisors will meet on Wednesday morning to discuss the impact of the arrests on the election.
The New York Times reports that plain-clothed police officers took the room keys from the reception of Baur au Lac hotel, where the officials were staying, and headed upstairs to the guest room.
It said the operation was carried out peacefully.

People die in Dubai every day, but it's considered such a wonderful place that nobody hears about them. When I was there it seemed like every 5 minutes an ambulance was sent to scrape some Somalian up off the pavement who'd fallen from the unsafe 'scaffolding' whilst building.

The entire Middle East uses modern day slaves one way or another, mostly from their own countries if the countries are poor but the rich countries, such as Saudi - they have 150,000 Filipinos in 'The Kingdom' alone doing ****, dangerous jobs for peanuts. UAE uses Somalians and Ethiopians.

I'm not agreeing with what FIFA are doing and the Qatari gov't are doing but it's by no means exclusive to them.

Hopefully the yanks will deem all the crimes severe enough to hand out the death penalty.

Walter De Gregorio (FIFA Director of Communications & Public Affairs) Has just stated that both the 2018 and 2022 world cups will go ahead in Russia and Qatar respectively.

He's also said the FIFA Presidential elections will go ahead as planned in the next few days

FIFA is utterly laughable. I don't know why the modern world doesn't just break away and form a different association. It's not like we need Bhutan, Barbados and Papua New Guinea for a World Cup. Basically, set up IFA and anyone who voted Blatter isn't invited.

Blatter will hold out against all odds. If they attempt to storm his fortfied mansion they will be repelled with gun-nests and well trained Swiss pikemen. Blatter himself will adorn his favourite 16th century pantaloons, halberd in hand, personally leading his guard, murdering the vile FBI daring to attack his humble abode.

FIFA is and has been a joke ever since Blatter was in charge. If his minnions have been arrested surely it can only be a matter of time before he gets arrested. After all how did Blatter become a multi millionaire?

Well obviously it was fixed. There's no way Qatar would have 'won' without it, I didn't need an inquiry to tell me that.
