hang on,.. I went to bed on transfer deadline day thinking this was all done. I woke up a day later to find that it had fallen through... I now wake up from a nap almost a week later and it's done?? WTF

 

Cleared by FIFA on our appeal. Both clubs carried out all the necessary procedures but technical issues at Boavista delayed them sending the registration by the cut off time. Neither clubs fault so clearance given.

Not sure why we have signed another young goalie though as none of ours are over thirty.

 

At least we're covered there now.

Still, shouldn't have ever come to this!!

Stryjek in the U21s is rated as outstanding as well. Vito back in a few weeks so we will have four promising keepers for the next few years. Still a puzzle signing a youngster for two years to cover three talented keepers.

 

Probably take 2 years for Stryjek to get a look in at the 1st team. Age for age he is supposed to be as good a Pickford but he is only 20.

 

Can Potentially look to send him on loan like we did with Pickford then?

 

I can only see positives in this. if I have any negative about the transfer window is we disn't get M'Vila back and another recognised striker. however having said that i like what I see with Moyes dealings. I'm in the glass half full corner, so let's see what the next few months brings. it may be a rocky ride and could get worse before it gets better.

I know this is Youtube so doesn't mean too much, from what I see he's decent shot stopper, alert attackers in the premiership would have a field day. having said that; he's supposed to be a raw talent ?? with bags of potential. (In that case I would like to see Pickford given the chance, isn't he the same?)

Stop pushing the ball back into the 6 yard box! And half the tips round posts and over bar are due to awful starting positions and awareness.

I'll assume he's been signed as a 'work in progress'.

They could have produced a better video, to be fair. I was expecting a load of worldys, but most of them were straight down his throat, routine saves.

Absolutely. What he had to do, he done well by getting his body behind the wall.

He needs to work on holding on to the ball, and his positioning, but hopefully we can bring him on with better coaching.

 

Agreed - but you could say that about most modern continental keepers!!

As for the NOT606 side - he doesn;t appear to have twitter so I'll write him a letter....

I'd suggest of 20 saves on that video 6-8 would have ended up in on the rebound in the Premier League.

I'm sure our excellent goalkeeping coaching team see something and improve him.
