Bluddy ridiculous if WH get away with this. Not only should he not have been playing, but he scored the only goal! (Mind you....do you really want to be back in the cup as well as chasing promotion and preparing for the JPT?)
Decision democratically made. We lost. Move on . Any further action would not be in the best interests of the club
He went to join the squad pre AFCON, he was still slightly injured, they knew it yet when he came back it had been made worse and he didn't play for weeks (flying out had inflamed it, that;s a long flight for someone with a bad back). When it came time for the AFCOM Senegal wanted to examine him, they were told he couldn't fly so they would have to fly to England, they refused. He didn't play any games except for the cameo v you. There was no way he could've played any part in the AFCON, if he had flown he would;ve become injured again. This whole situation was caused by Senegal's medical team.
Bottom line he should not have played, plus if not on the pitch he would not have scored the only goal. This needs addressing in citys favour.
Bottom line is he was unavailable to Senegal thanks to their medical staff, and the £71k fine shows what trillion dollar FIFA actually think of it. I thought after the game you showed class, shame you're spoiling it now.
You've dragged FIFA, Senegal, medical staff and a fine into this conversation, it's your team, your manager and your player that cheated, it's your club that's been fined and you are saying that we are ruining our class, unbelievable...
Bottom line is you were fined for cheating.. the amount is irrelevant.. show some class and accept it.
Oh we will, enjoy your premiership mediocrity and your eventual move to the soulless Olympic stadium.. I'm sure we will see you in the championship again soon. I look forward to watching bigger clubs such as Tottenham overtake you on and off the pitch.
I truly don't care that we are out, the REALLY BIG Prem teams don't so why should we, the FA Cup is fast becoming the Championship and lower half of the Premierships JPT anyway, but it was a pathetic fine that will not deter anyone from doing similar in the future.
