Not a big fan of Blatter mind, but he's on the ball here.

Lets face it. Blatter is getting involved, not because it is right. It's purely to have a further dig at an England player. Even if he should be banned for 6 year just for his face alone. John Merrick was ridiculed all his life. (should have been a footballer).

****ing lazy bastards. This is what it comes down to with the FA, they can't be arsed to do their job. You're paid (too much) to govern the game, get off your ****ing arses and do it. It's the same with the "frivolous appeal" punishment. They do it to stop people contesting ludicrous decisions so they have a few extra hours of ****ing into a sock each day. In what way is smashing someone in the face "halfway exceptional"? I'd like to see how Bernstein's opinion on that would change if somebody walked up to the idle ****er in the street and did it.

Yet they can ban Williamson even though the ref saw the incident.

I thought the Williamson incident only came up after the game because the ref didn't see it. I didn't watch the game so I might be wrong

He definitely saw it, he indicated play on and then spoke to Willo when the ball went out.

^ Smudger's right, he must've just seen it out the corner of his eye so wouldn't have been able to see it properly and therefore allowing shrek to get away with it
