What is going on today? we were all smiles before 3.45 this afternoon, now weve got people saying Pardew is a **** manager and that Krul is overrated. we lost, and badly, thats fair enough but come on, we dont lose a point for every goal we concede, we are still 6th, 6 points off stoke in 8th and only 5 points off chelsea in 4th. we are still in the fa cup and it looks like we could be signing another Cb in the near future.
Some people saying that Krul is overrated is just as pathetic and our second half performence, he has been a revelation this season and he has one bad performence and now he's ****.
Pardew has suddenly become tactically inept even though we are in 6th in our 2nd year back from the championship, he has built a great squad and is looks likes getting better, we are missing 4 of our best players, 2 of which are our best striker, 1 is our vice captain and the other our best player.
Were playing away in a stadium we have never played well in, cheers up, get behind the team, people are going to be angry yes but we have a cup game next and you know that pardew will still have them in the dressing room now giving them an absolute bollocking.

Yes we've done exceptionally well this season but that doesn't excuse the atrocious second half we were made to watch today. I wouldn't even call it a performance. It was that bad.

Looks horrific seeing perch in their. The money is available, you should spend, or stop playing a high line, when your defence is lacking in pace.

 

I agree people are overreacting about player performances seeing as it's one game and to be fair one we have completely lost our heads on. I think what makes it worse is that we dominated it in the first half and the first penalty should never have been. It's one to forget, but I really do think Shola needs to be dropped as soon as possible. Still in a good position in the league, winnable games coming up, cheer up lads it could be worse......

To be fair, it has been said on many occasions that Pardew's tactics and substitutions have been very poor. Also I don't see people calling him tactically inept, all people are saying is that the high line is what lost us the game today, just like it did against West Brom.

Agree, i think Pardew has worked wonders for your side, just one tactical blunder doesn't make him a poor manager. Shola should retire, and Krul is a top keeper, who couldn't really be blamed for 3 of their goals.
