Good luck to her. She's got her Pro Licence and she's been running their academy so she clearly knows what she's doing.

I've not got a lot of time for Dale Vince, due to his links to just stop oil and his 'look how progressive I am' shtick but if Hannah Dingley is the right person for the job (and it looks like, within FGR at least, she probably is) then she should get the job.

Good luck to her. Can't see her being any worse than Ferguson, who was a ridiculous appointment IMO.

Can't abide her boss mind. A chancer and a hypocrite.

Because I rarely talk in abbreviations infact I only use the most common and worldly uses ones
I had to google and guess what FGR ment
I’ve never know this int the past people talk intierly in abbreviation
I must learn all these and it may help with my poor spelling

This is obviously an interesting appointment/thread, which makes most of us curious, but we'll probably completely forget about her unless she is notably successful . . . . good luck, pet, and to Forest Green Rovers (that bit for Vince )

I think this is good for the game personally, or could be. Although the fact she is caretaker makes me think it may not be done entirely for the right reasons, but I might be just being cynical. Would love to see it be permanent and see how she gets on over a season, but they look like a club in the slide to me.

I have been surprised Emma Hayes hasnt been talked about for a mens team job yet.

I think its hard enough for seasoned male managers gaining respect from egotistical footballers at the best of times, I really cannot see a woman ever taking charge of a major football team any time soon. Most ....not all....footballers (certainly at top clubs) look at their managers past in the game and try to draw on that experience Fair play to FGR for trying.. but I am betting by the start or middle of the season latest she has been replaced, I see this as nothing more than a publicity stunt.

As she's straight I'm surprised they let her work there; you'd think her preference for pork sausage would have been a big no-no!
