We just had our 3rd win on the bounce, a nice healthy 12 points and the team is looking good now, but people still come on here moaning about our football. FFS we are still a work in progress and were getting better each game.

Enjoy the moment and stop moaning.

when we wasted a load of chances and it was still 1-0 after 85 minutes, i thought we where going to fall for the old sucker punch..but i thought to myself, i wont moan or be unhapy even if the worst happens..we played positive football, created chances and for once it was actually entertainment, which going to the football should be, we pay enough money for it...

    This <ok><ok>

Did anyone see big Nige bollocking Brady and urging the team forward? You can't blame the manager for the lack of goals. He's establishing a young, exciting and very capable team. The futures bright the futures amber :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Interesting how the resident moaners all seem quiet tonight! Today's game was as entertaining as anything we've seen for a while, ok we didn't get the extra goals to complement our performance but if people are gonna moan after today's performance and result then you wonder what it has to take to satisfy them.

I agree with that if we moan about negative football we need to accept the fact that positive football can bring things like that......

I would rather lose 4-1 going for it than defending at 2-1.... o wait..... ;)

Sat in Upper West Stand yesterday and had some stupid bird behind me giving a full (wrong) commentry then clapping like a spastic seal. Any pass that went stray she was whinging, on the break and forwards/Koren/Bradey holding ball up waiting for support she was complaining, an attempt at a different set piece that didnt come off, she whinged.

Got no problem with people whinging if the understand the game and have a reasonable and coherent arguement (ala DJ) but cannot stand whingers who know sod all about how to play the game.

Excellent team performance today, Hobbs edged MOM for me, thought Waggy was in for a shout, dropped off well, linked up well and ran himself into the ground

I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's performance, and at no point felt Portsmouth were going to score or worthy of a goal - the most comfortable 1-0 I have experienced. In fact I was very surprised by just how sh1te Portsmouth were.

He was really giving him a bollocking and it's not the first time, he's forever screaming at him to use his pace and run the line, but Brady always wants to come inside and take two men on. If Brady can vary his game a bit and figure out when to release the ball, he'll be an exceptionally good player.

I know how you feel mate, 90percent of complaints I see and read show complete lack of understanding of football. I've said it before, people see Champions League football and play fake footy on their Playstations and think that's how it is, or have supported us since the Prem days and know jack all about the game, when you've played and followed the sport for 40 years nearly like I have the ignorance starts getting on your nerves.

I think that's a little harsh in some ways, though, if I could have followed the sport for 40 years I would, but as I was born in the early 90s it's a little hard.
You only need to understand modern football to understand the game, just because I never saw Wagstaff or Chilton doesn't mean I don't know anything.
I've had a season pass ever since we moved to the KC, which makes this season only my 9th but still.. I can guarantee I know a lot more than many 'supporters' in their 30s, 40s and 50s.

I know your comment wasn't aimed at me or anything but I just felt the need to make this comment.

Fair do's mate, not all young un's are ignorant! Maybe I should have phrased it like there is a percentage of younger fans that think like that, but most people of all ages are more open-minded and not so negative.

There are lots of ex armchair fans of all ages that came out of the woodwork when we began to look certain to be successful. Age isn't the measure of moronic comments, it's the degree of moronicness!!! (if there is such a word).

You're in the clear, in the Urban Dictionary, it's defined as - A word that is both a verb and noun. Interchangable. Describes a moron, or a moronic situation. Most commonly used to describe the intensity of a moron and their individual acts. <ok>

Indeed. When we got promoted (seems like a decade ago now!) a number of my mates suddenly favoured City.
One in particular changes all the time though, he's been a Man Utd fan when they've been successful in recent years, favoured Tottenham when they finished in the top four, and now claims to support Man City (he's even got a shirt). Funnily enough, he's never sided with Chelsea. Glory supporters are part and parcel of football, we just have to live with it.

You see I was surprised when Hobbs got it, didn't really think the defence had anything to myself because Pompey showed so little urgency to get an equaliser so I wouldn't give any of the defence MOTM. I think I'd say McLean. I still don't think his shooting is consistently good enough but it's less of an issue this season. Last season it was ridiculous playing him ahead of Simpson (who'd just hit form) because the midfield was doing nothing going forward so we needed the strikers to score. This year with Koren, Brady, and even McKenna getting forward to have shots we can play McLean to hold it up and link up with them.

Wont get carried away just yet. We aint played anyone of note. Four home games and not one decent team amongst them. three away and only Leeds any good.
The top six coming up soon, then time to judge them

I would hardly say that Reading and Blackpool should be considered 'nobody of note'. Granted we lost to Blackpool but it was a good performance and the loss was undeserved.
