Big sicks

The difference is it's the 'Not fit for purpose' EFL that is flexing it's muscles against clubs that are financially already 'basket cases'. The Premier League wouldn't dare upset the mega-wealthy 'Big Six' who's top lawyers would put the PL through the mincer. It is as it always has and will be, one rule for them and damn the rest...

100% this.

The game seems up for Derby, their creative accountancy seems to have reached the end of the line...

I guess the big question here is will the points deductions be added. A 21 point deduction surely means certain relegation. They are not a good side and morale will surely be at rock bottom.
There are many clubs and sets of fans that we would surely sympathise with but I dont think they will find any compassion here. They have cheated the system pretty much systematically for a few years now. If justice had been done they would have been relegated last season and Wycombe would have had a second crack at the Championship.

Probably also means that they will simply revert to being known as Derby County........... can't see Rooney sticking around for long......

Been a long time coming......

As we know … pissing money up against the wall always ends in tears. While owners will tend their bruised egos, while the players will walk away to other contracts, it’s always the fans who feel the heartache and suffer. It’s a dark, ****ty smelling tunnel but we do all come out of it in the end; some better than others!

21 points deduction?
I thought it was 9?

It was 12 points, 9 this season and 3 next season for financial irregularities. Administration is an automatic 12 pointer during a current season. They may be on minus past Christmas...
That must be a bitter pill to swallow after quaffing on all those sweeties in the candy store for the last few years (without a consideration on how they might pay for them). Greed indeed.
