It will be interesting to see what happens with this.
If other clubs get punished financially, maybe this suggests that the club will appeal that their fine is too much (and bear in mid the current Covid situation) maybe..just maybe there maybe either some kind of refund or oher clubs receive higher fines going forward. Think Direby should be worried.....Keogh has won an unfair dismall claim against the club (although this could go to appeal), wednesday have lost lots of money and it is a shame that villa went up.
We have no money coming into the game, maybe if the club said they would go bust or struggle then maybe just maybe things would be revised
I doubt we'd get any sympathy if we were going bust, there are supposed to be loans via the bailout but the amounts won't cover too much of the losses. We're fortunate to have a vastly reduced wage bill but I can't see any team beating their FFP limits this season so basically it will be unlikely any team will be penalised.
Whether the EFL would waive the payment for this and last season is possible but their determination to nail us on this suggests that won't be happening...
