Should Vilhena depart then Feyenoord will look to bring Leroy Fer back to the club, but only on a loan basis from English Championship side QPR.
It is a strange and unsettled life being a pro footballer. Must be very odd and unsettling for their families.
Hasn't stepped up this season at all ? Or am I being harsh ? I know there is a class player in there just not at our level , needs better players around him to shine I believe . Possibly cash in and look elsewhere ?
I agree: he looked top drawer in the latter part of last season and I was delighted that, one way or another, we kept him. However, this season, he has largely swanned around and looked very bottom drawer. He could be very, very good but he seems to drift in and out of games and can't always be relied upon to put in a shift.
Big wages, little end product. Get rid if possible and make way for my Luongo-Gladwin-Doughty dream team midfield.
Hes not fit imo......not to the level he should be anyway and possibly still concerned about a bad injury
I admit I'm not the bloke's biggest fan and Redknapp playing him wide was a complete joke but he's played 71 games in England, mostly in the Prem but some in the Champ. He has 11 goals. His career suggests he's a 1 in 6 player which is fine if you're contributing all over the pitch but he seems to do little if anything defensively. Again, not that big a deal if you're a young, cheap player looking to improve but he's nearly 26 and presumably at his peak or very close to it. On a wage of presumably £1-2 million a year, I just don't see a case for keeping him if we get any serious offer to sell.
