I think the most reliable car this year will be the Ferrari F150 (I prefer to call the car by it's original name - F150th Italia sounds ****!) Fernando Alonso is a very experienced driver, the most complete driver on the grid, and has experience working with four different teams. With all this experience and knowledge, you would value his comments far more than most other drivers. Fernando Alonso said after his days testing in Valencia that he was very impressed with the reliability of his new car. The next day, Felipe Massa suffered an oil fire. But since then, the car has been brilliant. Testing programmes have been completed every day since the incident and the team have been able to do the most laps. This has lead Fernando Alonso to once again praise the reliability - something quite brave in my opinion considering what happened the last time he praised the car's reliability. Alonso said: "It is very important to be able to do so many kilometres one after the other, without experiencing any problems. It means we can pick up a lot of data which is useful especially when it comes to understanding the tyre behaviour, which is the biggest unknown at this test." Other teams are yet to experiment with KERS or the adjustable rear wing. Many who have tested them have faced problems. Ferrari were able to test both on the first day, and neither system has faced any issues. Aldo Costa said that mechanically, the car will almost be complete at Jerez, and the aerodynamic part of the car will feature big upgrades from now until Bahrain. This means that most of the innovations are yet to feature. According to Tombazis, the new frong wing will be very complex - and an important part for the car. Mechanically, I think the only area for improvement would be the exhausts (having said that, the Ferrari was reported to have made a much deeper noise then it did at Valencia). Whatever the case, Ferrari seem to have no major issues with reliability, and hopefully will do better when it comes to the aerodynamics.
