There's really no point to this thread other than the fact I felt like, once again, laughing at Fernando Torres. Well, not so much him, rather that Chelsea have spent £50m on a guy they mainly use as a substitute. That's a Goetze and a Podolski they've spent on a striker who's scored 3 Premier League goals in the last 10 months.
Desperate teams take desperate decisions - remember Chelsea were in freefall last season and in danger of not making Champs lge, even though he's been a complete waste of money they did make CL so maybe his presence gave teammates a rocket up their arses ? I can't justify anyone having a value of £50m but that's not Torres' fault, it's the fault of his employers who have no value for money
