Have some great memories of him from fm09, in particular scoring on debut for my liverpool team v Man Utd but he never, in real life lived up to his "wonderkid" expectations. I put his name into Google and all i got was stuff about diving, i'm assuming he must be a typical italian then? But my main question is essentially is, is he any good?
Sorry got confused considering he has played for Italy U21's, U20's, U19's and U17's and only played for Italian senior clubs.
He's a little frustrating. One moment genius the next seemingly not knowing what to do next. If he can sort out his decision making he'll be unplayable. Plus he's a character and the game needs characters.
Given our distinct lack of strikers last season, well people who find the net, I am more that happy to have him in a Watford shirt. Long may his form continue.
He was born in Rosario but I believe one of his parents is Italian which gives him the dual nationality. He is a quick footed player who loves to run with the ball. But he seems to drop his head and miss an easy pass. If he continues this form he will easily live up to his expectation.
He plays in spells but he's a crowd-pleaser with lots of tricks. At Championship level he'll leave a few defenders in his wake, he'll score a few goals and he'll sometimes frustrate fans and team-mates.
