Absolutely bossed it last night as we've gotten used to see seeing. But it got me thinking... Is he the best player in the league?
Its all about opinions mate. I do rate him very very highly though. Hes 33 now, he seems to have got better with age.
Klopp would probably be the first to admit today he fecked up last night leaving Keita and Fabinho on the bench. They would have shackled Citys midfield much better.
Wild statement/question that Liebs. He had a great game last night. The best player in the league is Aguero and has been for some time. It’s popular to say things like Kante is better or De Bruyne is better but they’re not, he’s phenomenal.
Yeah I'd personally go Aguero or David Silva but it's always attacking players who get this so thought it'd be interesting to discuss the more defensive minded players.
I’m sure Fosse will agree that a DM is the best player in the league but let’s be honest, Aguero and Hazard are probably in a league of their own. Hazard just has commitment issues.
Hazard’s class but not consistent enough. Think he’s had two seasons at Chelsea where he’s dropped quite badly. He’s fantastic when he’s ‘on it’ though. I’d say de Bruyne is the best. One of the most complete players I’ve seen in a long time. David Silva is a magician though and doesn’t seem to be declining with age. If Aguero had been able to stay fit for longer periods he’d be in the equation as well.
I still think that KDB has some catching up to do with Silva personally. Silva is a ****ing magician, wonderful footballer.
