Fernandez and Schar are our best CB's by a mile

They just show far more class on the ball than Lascalles and clark, so why are they often benched?

Apart from Schars mistake, he was solid, and Fernandez is the closest thing I've seen to coloccini. Cool on the ball at the back.

Why the **** Clark gets picked I don't know. I said before the match it should have been Fernandez.

Unless we're buying, these two play every week for me. But I almost guarantee Lascelles is straight back vs Burnley.

It's more than that, though - they were helped massively by having ACTUAL full backs either side. When you're a CB and you've got Ritchie left and Murphy or Krafth right, you've got two extra jobs to do, when one is hard enough.

Fernandez stands out. Leadership, dependable and just doesn't seem as error prone as the other three. Schar would be next. Take your pic on Clark and Lascelles. Both ****e. Clark was previously dependable but he's been comfortably our worst player this season, never mind worst defender. Lascelles has been ****ter for longer and again this season, poor.

I'd play Schar and Fernandez but yeah we need to bring one in too to help. Schar still worries me because he has one massive clanger in him every game. We used to have a centre back like that under Bobby Robson...

There were some games where he looked like Beckenbauer. Then in the 93rd minute I'd be calling all the ****s under the sun.

Aye but Bramble could look so classy. There were times I watched him when I thought, he looks as good as any. England material. But then he'd do something so bad I'd want to smack him (although I think he might a bit of a handful). I'll never forget being in Scalinis at the Three Mile one Friday and the **** was that pissed he hit every table on the way out. Sat down the next day in the ground, picked up the team sheet, look who's ****ing centre half! I thought the **** must have been injured when he was that minging.

Needless to say he cost us a goal with 5mins to go.
