Fergie's mind games!

Discussion in 'Tottenham Hotspur' started by Hoddle is a god, Mar 3, 2012.

  1. He really cannot help himself.

Today, I'm reading that Fergie believes the Spurs directors will be worried for Spurs' future, should Harry take the England job. Why, exactly? Spurs was around a very, very long time before Harry, and I'm fairly confident that we'll be around long after I've shuffled off this mortal coil.

Of course, this is all part of Fergie's "win at all costs" tactics. Using the media to stir up discontentment in our squad, ahead of a big game for United.

And let's face it, this game is probably bigger for United than it is for us.

He was worried how it'd affect our season yet also thought it wouldn't really affect players, mostly the directors who will have little to do with the rest of this season.

Just talking for the sake of talking really.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: whenever the England job has a vacancy that needs fillingt, there's always going to be a call for Bacon Face to be given the job from one circle of the media - yet there isn't a peep about it this time. What did he do, threaten to revoke press passes to Old Trafford if his name was linked to the job?

It's nothing more than the usual bollocke from Fergie. Totally expected, and I'm sure Harry would have been more worried if SAF had kept his mouth shut.

Of course it's mind games Luke, Fergie always put in a sly dig against Utd's next opponents.

I'm be happy to hear him slate Spurs because that will mean we have finally beaten you.

    Sound like he's more pro-harry than pro-Spurs.

Everyone is expecting us to become a midtable side again once Harry leaves.

Funny, I thought 'Arry wasn't anything but a mid-table manager. That's what fans of certain other clubs have been saying on our boards for the past 3 1/2 years...

Actually want Spurs to win this. Don't want the scum to win plus I'd rather you get 3rd than Le'Arse or the Chavs. So good luck to you :)

A win today would also guarantee QPR and Blackburn will join Wigan and Bolton on the list of teams that can't finish the season with more points than us, thus guaranteeing our safety.

Chelsea, on the other hand, can mathematically still be relegated...

Well thanks, but I think it's definately out of our reach... I'd love to finish above chelsea though... Would love this:

    1st- Man city
    2nd- Manure
    3rd- You guys
    4th- Le'Arse
    5th- Us or the Toon
    6th- Us or the Toon
    7th- The Chavs

Aha <laugh>... Very much doubt it would happen though

Thanks. I do understand where your coming from, seems like such a twat but a brill player. Such a shame he has a **** attitude lol. Didn't get to catch our game yesterday (Shame about the loss) but watching the highlights on MOTD he ripped their defence apart. Shame he can't finish for toffee <laugh>

I watched virtually the whole game. No doubt you deserved to win. But, a combination of poor finishing and bad luck on your side, and a master class in finishing from RVP - along with some smart goalkeeping by the bloke with a lot of Z's in his name, gave the points to the Goons.

I'm hoping the FA step in and make the goals one or two inches bigger. You'll be sure to get 4th then :D
