The theory doing he rounds on the net is that Saffa did not think he had it in him to have an operation AND fight off a potentially resurgent Chelsea under Jose. Especially if Jose hit the ground running while Saffa was in rehab. Saffa historically could never get the better of Jose So he got Moyes in to take the heat while he directs from above. If Chelsea do get Jose, I stil think Saffa + puppet Moyes will overcome Emenaldo + Jose next season, so the wise old fox has made the right choice. If he doesn't, it is Moyes' fault. Win win for Saffa.
It's quite funny how you guffaw at people having a laugh about QPR doing well in the West London mini-league and then get your knickers in such a twist over an equally pointless statistic.
Always have done, for the record this is probably one of the most deluded threads I have ever come across. Take up another sport you mong.
You're starting to sound worse than that moron Adrian Durham. The myth that Mourinho scares other managers is just complete drivel spouted by those attempting to create a pissing contest. Stop kidding yourselves. SAF has been planning to retire for years, he probably would have done it last year if Manchester City hadn't have snatched the title away, why retire when your closest rivals have just pipped your team to the prize? It'd make people think he retired because of Manchester City He won the title back and left with pride and dignity, with a list of amazing accomplishments and achievements that will never be forgotten by Manchester United fans (well football fans in general).
The theory doing the rounds on the net is that Jose settled for Chelsea when he wasn't offered the Man United job. Makes sense so it must be true. There's also another theory doing the rounds on the net that Fergie was offered the Chelsea job but decided to retire instead as apparently "life is too short". Also makes sense so must be true. Glad that's all cleared up.
8th May 2013: Alex Ferguson announces his retirement 20th May 2013: Florentino Perez announces Mourinho will be leaving Real Madrid 3rd June 2013: Jose Mourinho announced as new Chelsea manager Hardly "running scared" if he announced his retirement when Mourinho was still Real Madrid manager. You may as well say Kenny Jackett quit Millwall when he heard Mourinho was coming back.
