He gives us something different in the midfield, strong lad, hope he performs and improves. Wish we would now focus on the striker issue, going into another season with Go-miss is worrying..............<ok>

Happyish with the signing, I just hope he gets himself fit and can last beyond 60mins, can be a little unpredictable in his performance and needs to give us more good games than bad. Still don't see this as a new signing as he played the best part of 4 months for us, saying that the management know what he can do. lets hope his record of 2 relegations with teams he has started the season with does not continue.

    Massive bargain IMO.
Played many positions for Feyenoord under many managers .
Started out his breakthrough season playing right back ( handy for us ) and played a bit also as an attacking midfielder . Played a bit of striker also .
When he left Holland for Norwich he was being used by another manager as a defensive midfielder .
Played well for Norwich winning 4 player of the match awards in a row leading into a player of the month , certainly not a negative factor to Norwich's attempt to stay up .
At QPR he scored 6 goals in his last 18 appearences ( a third of all goals scored in those 18 games ) as an attacking midfielder , certainly not a negative factor to QPR's attempt to stay up .
Massive massive potential here , much like Van Der Hoorn and much like Kanu if he arrives ....haven't felt this good about transfer direction since Laudrup .
6' 3 "... 6' 2" ...6'1"...for these 3 players at a total price of under 7 million . Addressing a height problem , in a very practical way . " Potential" is the word of the day for me .
Kanu : 7 goals in 13 Premier starts , 12 sub Appearences in the Premier and a great Euro 2016 .FREE
Van Der Hoorn: 6 goals (CB) in his last 35 Appearances for Utrecht and player of the year ..2 million .
Fer : 6 goals in his last 18 Premier Appearences before coming to us 4.75 million .

Done ok in parts with us so why not but nothing to get excited about yet. Im not interested in any position apart from the strikers position. Without a couple of quality strikers then it wont matter who we sign in other positions as it will be much the same as last season of having most of the play but lack of goals and losing narrowly in a lot of games...
