Dutchman pens permanent deal at Liberty Stadium ...

    • Swansea swoop for Leroy Fer
    • Dutchman leaves Loftus Road after two years
    • Midfielder made 50 appearances for R's
MIDFIELDER Leroy Fer has joined Swansea City for an undisclosed fee.
The Dutch international, who spent the second half of last season on loan at the Liberty Stadium, has now put pen to paper on a permanent three-year deal.
Fer joined QPR in August 2014, making 50 appearances in total for the Hoops, scoring eight goals.
The club would like to thank Leroy for his services to QPR and wish him well for the future.

Never saw anything close to his full potential whilst he was here. Seems to have all the physical tools but carries a lazy streak with him.

Good luck at Swansea, and happy we've recouped some money for him.

The man is a Jonah - and he'll take the Swans down.

By the way Ninesy - did you have any luck on the nags after I saw you Saturday? Had one big win and a couple of places, ended about even

No loss. Had talent, but much of the time for us he disappeared on the pitch

I had a mare mate, not one winner. I hope you backed the winner of the Coral-Eclipse. If not you should have :emoticon-0105-wink:

Talking of horses, that's what Leroy Fer reminded me of. A shire horse, tall and no pace.

Yep 3-1 loss in a 70 minute training match behind closed doors. The side was a grim looking one,Perch captain,Furlong and Caulker centre backs ffs. That absolute waste of space Gladwin played, and gave away a late penalty ! Polter scored an open goal, but missed 3 other sitters.Marvelous.
