SKY SOURCES: QPR agree £8m fee for Norwich's Leroy fer

    Tidy business

Edit: The thing is, expect Faurlin to be benched as soon as Fer comes in. Just like Onouha and Hoillet

    Very tidy.

Expect Faurlin, Onouha and Hoillet all to play regularly.

We were all saying all squad was thin, and better to buy young promising prospects that are first choice, than 2nd or 3rd choice players

If Fer is a better player than Faurlin then so be it. The other option is to get in a player inferior to Faurlin, and what's the point of that?

I was working today and am still there with a sour face, how did Charlie and Remy look together?

I think these guys should have to earn their place + not just be chucked straight in the side

Agree, I missed one important word.

    "potential" first choice.

No they shouldn't go straight in, but we want to buying "potential" first choice players.

    And Fer is that.

He may be a good player but I think we're ok in that department. We need an attacking midfielder and a striker or two. In Fer's position we've got Barton, Mutch, Faurlin and Henry.

£8m is colossal money for a Club like us to be paying for a player like that. That'll bring us up to £22m plus apparently £1.5m for the loan player, for the Summer. Minus Granero brings it down to around £19.5m and did we get any money for anyone else?

Whatever way you look at it, for a small Club we're still chucking huge sums of money about.

I'm not saying its wrong per se but I do wince when I hear these figures mentioned

It's money we could be spending on a striker or CAM.

Mate, in my opinion Henry is not a PL player. With the addition of Fer that would give us 4 players to cover 3 positions.

Have QPR ever taken good players away from Norwich?

Henry is a very classy player IMO and in this set up he will be very valuable as a lot of his game is without the ball and he is excellent at getting it back

Today I saw a QPR team very comfortable on the ball that's a good start compared to recent times when we couldn't put 3 passes together

Henry is the best sitter we have

Very solid and with Rio there as well we could look very comfortable if we are protecting a lead ... That is a massive thing at this level IMO

Henry turns up in the right place at the right time that's no accident IMO

I am with you on this one. I thought Ali was one of our best players of the game. But you know what Harry is like

I also agree with this . As ruthless as it sounds I think Barton has served his purpose , his dead ball distribution is very poor and not up to PL standard . Squad player at best IMO .

I have a bad feeling about this bloke if he comes to us. He's not what we need nor is he the right sort.
