Just seen this on the Skysports website:

    10:18

Leroy Fer has confirmed he is not thinking about leaving Norwich City following the club’s relegation from the Premier League. The Holland international midfielder is currently away on World Cup duty.
Whatever happens here in Brazil, I am a Norwich player. I am contracted to them for the next three years so my commitment is to them.

Hope he brings back his goalscoring talents from the world cup into the championship next season and tears the opposing championship midfield apart

Did you realise he is statistically the greatest ever player at a World Cup?

Whether he leaves or not is obviously still up in the air. But I'm quite proud to see a Norwich player reach the World Cup Semis

It's not new ground, we have had a World Cup winner at our beloved club, although not at the time he won it!

    Martin Peters!

Peters actually played more games for Norwich than he did for Spurs (206 games). Great player, loved watching him 'ghost' in to score.

Agreed, but without sounding ignorant, it's quite nice to witness it myself in my lifetime. I do fancy Holland to get to the final as well

Fair play to him, I hope we can keep the wolves at bay.

I was lucky enough to watch the '66 World Cup, just as well, I can't see England winning it again any time soon!

I think selling Snodgrass eases us maybe having to sell other players. I think Fer would be one of the best players in the Championship , keeping him would be a huge coup. Him staying might be good for his career as well, a season where he has a chance to really excel.

Well, as long as he sees it like that we shouldn't have too much to worry about <ok>

I think it'll be good for him. He does lack consistency at times, I just think a good, strong and consistent season will enhance his development. Maybe I'm wrong, but like you say only as long as he is committed.

If we can hold onto as many players as possible and get in some creative reinforcements then I'll be a lot more happier about next season, still not very confident about the man we have in charge but it's too late to change anything now.

The two players I'm concerned about the most are Olsson and Hooper.

Fair comment northants - I'm not convinced that Olsson will be at CR on 1st Sep. <ok>

I hope the interest from West Brom and Ham doesn't unsettle him, he was easily our best player last season.

I was drunk on a beach on the island of Labuan off the coast of Borneo. I remember the full time score, but 8 hours of drinking made me, and most of my fellow RAG friends mis the extra time. The name of the beach was Surrender Point.

Did I really write RAG or did auto correct translate RAF as that. And now writing this I see that this is so. I hate auto correct.
