On paper that team looks better than the one that was playing on the weekend. Personally I wouldn't play Frimpong as this would be rather risky as he hasn't played much pre-season and Ramsey has looked good so far. I'm surprised that Sagna has recovered so quickly as his fall was quite sickening, i'm very happy that he came out of that ok. Apart from missing Arteta, that is pretty much our first 11, so it really doesn't look all that bad. As long as we keep it tight, a draw would be a good result playing at such a hard away fixture, so early on in the season.
Looking at the starting 11 then the backbone of the team is there - they will fear walcott's pace, having giroud's strength to hold the ball and win in the air, kos and mert are (usually) solid together. Let's not loose hope after 1 game into PL. The same team did go unbeaten 10 games and won nicely against City in pre-season. There are games where everything really goes wrong and we had that game straight away. Come on!

I think that we're capable of getting a result. This team's biggest problem is inconsistency. Poor against Galatasary, good against City, poor against Villa. This is why we need experienced, quality signings, not kids. Hopefully we can qualify for CL, bring in some good players and get our season up and running.
Is Frimpong even in our CL squad? And anyway, as well as not being very good, the guy is also not match fit, having played next to zero minutes in pre-season.
Are people seriously considering Frimpong? ****ing ludicrous. "Judge Wenger in September", they said.
Yea, we could be out of the Champions League and 9 points off the pace in the league by then, so forgive me for not sharing your patience.
