Hello everyone, been an avid reader of 606 for a while now and finally decided to put my 2 penneth out there.
Like a lot of Sunderland supporters out there the feeling of delight at our new signings soon followed anxiety that the left winger we so badly need to take us to next level,
Having witnessed the latest fiasco up the road has put into perspective the brilliant work going on behind the scenes of our glorious club and how far we have come since sir Niall took over the helm and how nice it is to hear nothing but positive thoughts and togetherness coming from our squad.
Thankyou agent Ashley for the feelgood factor !!!

    Welcome mate,

Although the MA/JB fiasco makes me laugh, couldn't really give a toss as to how he is ruining their club, eventually he'll sell and they will start again.

More concerned about our club and how it's doing. Progress is in hand, slowly but surely.

Another steady mid table finish is on the cards, so all is well.

    Come on in Rokerpark.

It matters little that the NE1 brigade are in total disaray again but it sure brings a smile to my face.

We are less than 2 weeks form the big kick off and to be honest I'm very happy in general but do still think we are a bit light up top and some attacking intent down the flanks (how many other ways can we say forward and left wing Lol)

    Hiya.
This feel good factor you speak of, is hollow. Given that it comes from our nearest and dearests' own problems it is not the same as if it would be if it regarded the state of our own team.

Yes the shenanigans in Northumberland are hilarious but it matters more to me about what we are doing. Our problems are obvious, but Bruce has sought to plug some of last seasons problems.

No team is, or can be the finished article. Take Barcelona for example.

thanks for the warm welcome all !!!

i've been a keen observer of not606 since it started, as i work away for most of the year where internet isn't always available
and like most fans i become obsessed for news during transfer windows which is sometimes hard to come by.
i find all i need to know whats going on at my beloved club from you lads......

    in reply to bertie,
the feel good factor i was referring to came from the work SNQ/SB had already done during the last month or so in the transfer market
i feel we are slowly building the foundations of a team which although at the moment may have a little less flair,
but is in my opinion a team with a bit of bite and nous which we were lacking last year.
i agree with the sentiments about that rabble up the road, but they sure do make you realise what we have !!!!

i honestly feel the left winger we all know we need and i know you all are sick of talking about but rome wasn't built in a day and i have faith that this area is being adressed (would love it to be adam johnson) and that once the final piece of the jigsaw is in place will give us all the confidence of what could be a very good year ahead for the lads

    keep the faith
