What do you guys think of us having a feeder club. I think it would be a good idea to have a partnership with another club so that we can send players on loan to them in order to get experience. I know we just send players out to lots of different clubs at the moment but surely some kind of partnership would be better so that we can keep a close on on our players. Your thoughs...
I think this would be an excellent idea. Like you have said, we would be able to send our younger players to the feeder club and they would get a feel of professional first-team football. Also, we could maybe have first choice on some of their younger players so we could even pick up one or two players from that club who we think have potential to be good players. Overall, it sounds like a crackin idea.
Quick fact: Colchester United's blue & white striped kit derives from Huddersfield's kit. One of Colchester United's founders wasa Huddersfield fan
Cork city fc ..... we've already given the premier league kevin doyle, shane long , roy o donovan* if city were liverpools feeder club we would now have doyle and long * o'donovan was **** i know
My local club... Horsham FC. Horsham FC needs as much help as it can get. We can't even afford a full-time manager!
I would love to see them do a deal with Plymouth Argyle. To help them out of the mire, huge catchment area for support and far away enough that scouts won't bother to look at the talent.
Have more than one like the old days,Get a new connection with League of Ireland clubs like Home Farm and Shamrock Rovers.
do we not still have some connections with Crewe? we got murphy and rob jones from them and we wasn't lee bowyer there when houllier turned him down (might have been at charlton thinking on)
