The company I'm working for at the moment are holding me to the three month notice period. So far I have done about 7-8 weeks and just today I have suddenly decided that I am severely ****ed off and am losing the will to continue here.

Any law people on here who could give me advice on how I could get out soonest? I know Dev seems to be well up on all matters legal (and illegal for that matter being an ex bent pig).

Does the contract I signed indicating 3 months notice hold legally?

Just take all your clothes off and carry on working as if nothing's wrong. They'll probably send you home on health grounds.

Play the Yakety Sax tune from Benny Hill every time your boss walks past your desk. He/she will feel ridiculed, but can't sack you for it. Their only sensible course of action will be to release you from your notice period.

That's a good idea but knowing my history of mental health issues they will probably lock me up in a padded room, straighjacketed in Cornhill and throw away the key.

I'm thinking ravey Davey Bowie in Ashes To Ashes!

Do you work on an oil rig? If so you are pretty much stuck until the chopper taxi comes .

You failed either to foresee or prevent 9/11, ergo; you're doing a **** job with the ragheads.

9/11 was an inside job. No ragheids were involved.

Americans did it and that is FACT.

A lot of contracts are nothing to do with law but are more about company policy. no idea about yours though. Ask Pope for help, hes probably lurking around here somewhere.
