Let's all agree this season so far has been amazing . To look forward to games, to talk of a midfield the envy of any team, the flair , the defence!!

We can all moan about Ashley, lack of communication with fans, SD ****e all over the ground, selling Carroll. But consider this. Next transfer window will see 2 big proving points for Ashley:

    1. If bids come in for Colo or Tiote or Cabaye will we sell?
    2. If we get another striker to compliment Ba ?

If we get positives from above, then I for one will put down my " I hate Ashley" placard and accept a non-footballing bloke bought us for his own purposes and that by fluke/accident/planning the whole episode turned out well.

We can be a potential top 6 club for a long time with the current squad of youth and flair players. We won't go chasing "sicknotes" again, nor will we be ransom to ageing has-beens.

We can then have closure and be happy.

I don't hate him, I hate why he bought the club. It's clear to anyone it's only a mean of getting his brand out there even more than it already is.

  5. I'll perhaps stop hating him, but never love or like him.

I'd personally be happy signing no one but keeping everyone during the Jan transfer window.

Tiote would be the biggest loss, replacing him would cost us more than we'd get for him.

    Tash..........quick questions.

    1. How do you change a post header?
    2. How do you set up a poll?

    Cheers

  7. Go back to the forum page, double click next to your article, then a box should appear and you can edit your article header.

To set up a poll there's an option at the bottom when writing an article. You have to click the box, type in the amount of options and go from there.

Agreed. I can see why he sold Carrol, Nolan, Barton, and Enrique. The real test will be if we get a decent bid for Krul/Tiote/Cabaye this summer.

I'm not going to lose any sleep pondering and fretting over the upcoming January transfer window.

It's midway through October and we've had a great start to the season and for once; I'm just going to go with the flow and enjoy it.

I still hate him. That hate is slowly turning to a generalised dislike, but I will always hate the way he handled the club in his first few years, and the way he continues to **** on our traditions in his one-man crusade to turn St James' Park into a Sports Direct-sponsored local library. I like Carr, I like Pardew but rightly or wrongly I don't think I will ever really like Ashley and Dekka Llambias. I might eventually be able to forgive if he plays his cards right but I will never forget.

Don't think it's a matter of if but a matter of when. Would be very surprised if nobody makes an offer.

He will have to do a lot for the niggling little feeling I get that something terrible is just around the corner. If we can go this whole season and into next season without him ****ing something up then I'll gradually gain more respect for him.

Face it lads, a Leopard never changes it's spots.

If a bid comes in big enough for any of your players, he will be forced out of the door, regardless of if he wants to stay or not.

You've also got to remember that you have a fantastic scout, and you should put faith in him that no player on your books is irreplaceable, never mind how much you love them now.

Also bear in mind, that the days of over-inflated fees are going to come to an end soon with the fair-play rules so Mike Ashley might take advantage of that, at least one more time. My guess is that Kenny Dogshite will come in with a bid for Tiote at some point in January, maybe involving a loan deal for Carroll - which Ashley and Llambias would use as a smokescreen to avoid paying out a fee for a striker.

Your days of watching horrible football on the pitch are looking like they're coming to an end but that guy in charge has gambled and it has so far paid off this season, he has been VERY lucky that your squad has not suffered too many injury setbacks.
