With the tie finely balanced at 0-0, Celtic face a difficult task qualifying for the Europa League group stage.

FC Sion proved a tough nut to crack in the first leg and they will feel confident that they can overcome a Celtic side who have failed to score in their previous two games.

With temperatures reaching 35 degrees Celsius in the Valais capital, Celtic will need to be patient and pace themselves.

Neil Lennon will be boosted by the return of Kelvin Wilson and Biram Kayal and will be hoping that striker Gary Hooper will be able to shake off the ankle knock that has left him sidelined recently.

Concentration will be key to the outcome of this match. Celtic cannot afford to make the sort of defensive slip ups that cost them so dearly against St. Johnstone and will need to be much more clinical in front of goal.

Chances are often at a premium in European away ties and Lennon will look to the likes of Ki and Commons to unlock the tight Sion defence.

Recent results in European competition have left Scottish clubs in danger of plunging down UEFA's rankings. Let's hope that Celtic and their great rivals Rangers can make it to the group stages and give Scottish football the boost it desperately needs.

I'm trying to strike a conciliatory tone.

That's my default setting these days, particularly in Europe.

I am quite confident. Even if they score it doesn't do them that much good as a goal for us puts us through.
At least more of our better players will be available and Celtic know exactly what they have to do.
No pressure from large crowd, I think and hope we should make it.

Rangers I just could not care less. If they win they will have a number of mid week games if they lose too bad.

Wilson, Kayal and Hooper all rated doubtful for tonight's match according to Lennon.

I can see us starting with Samaras up front on his own :emoticon-0107-sweat

At least Sameras won't have to listen to abuse from as early as the 15th minute tonight. Maybe he will be able to keep his confidence up.

If he tries to head the baw with his eyes closed again he'll hear my abuse all the way from Glasgow.
