After 90 minutes and extra-time the game has ended 0-0 with penalties required to separate the teams.

Should we just hand them the tie and save ourselves the embarrassment?

Alternatively, who should take them? I would go with Forster, Big Maj, Wilson, Brown and Ledley.

They couldn't do any worse than the so-called strikers and attacking midfielders.

I'm sure Commons will take a decent penalty again - just not Samaras, please.

I thought of the six penalties we missed in the last 6 months the worse two if it is possible to differentiate between penalties was Hoopers high and wide effort and Commons on Sunday. I thought Commons approach to the ball was all wrong, as if he had no confidence.
A penalty in the opening minutes should not be as nerve wrecking as one in the closing minutes.
But God, where the hell is their pride, how could well paid professionals not score from 12 yards. 9 penalties awarded since February and only 3 scored.

Looks like Wilson, Kayal and Hooper might be fit to face the Swiss. Even if it was just two of them (preferably Wilson and Hooper) that would be a bonus.

Kayal is very important. If Sion tries to play through midfield Brown Ki Ledley and Commons are not a tight close knit midfield.
Put Kayal in the middle and Ledley towards the left.
I would start with Stokes and Hooper, leaving Commons out.

I read in the Metro that it's 36 degrees C in Switzerland just now <yikes>

I wouldn't last 10 minutes playing in that.
