That man Chopra starting as he means to go on with a 2 goal salvo in the second half! The first just 3 minutes into his Town debut and the second 13 minutes from the end. A good run out for the boys by all accounts and although this is just the start of our long campaign it augers well that Chops has done what we bought him to do! Amazing, the lad is the real deal then. Shefki Kuqi was the last man to bag 20 in a season for us, could this change this season? Priskin & Ellington were supposedly looking sharp too!
I know its early days blah blah blah but it must be good for his confidence to come on and slot 2 in his first game alongside his new team mates. He is a proven quality finisher some one we have been badly missing since Benty!
Good start by all and nearly everyone got a run out. Wish it was against PSV Eindhoven though, it would be even more impressive.
We always hear that the results don't count in pre-season. I don't agree. This is very good news what with all the new faces to incorporate into the team. I'm feeling more positive about what lies in store for us this season but as Warky mentioned Den Bosche should be a good test!
