It occurred to me recently that Barcelona don't really need `tactics' or a `Plan B' simply because if they do what they do well and keep doing it, the opposing team will not get the chance to do much about it and will be worn down - even if they score goals themselves. I know that RM was criticised at Swansea and later at Wigan for not having this plan B but my guess is the omission of plan b was calculated risk. Reverting to another style of play would detract from progress adopting this passing style, and loosing matches is the inevitable result of this learning curve. And if a team does not have the class and quality of the Barcelona players of course then things will go quickly pear-shaped. Looking forward to see how our style of play will do in the Premiership.
