As the title says.. Here is mine MEDIA=youtube]WJPwgmWUtKA[/MEDIA] Lots more as well but these were my favourites..
When I was a kid I used to watch the DJ Kat show, I think it was one Sky One... proper kids tele that, none of this ‘Annabelle and his friends Singh and X and discussing their gender fluidity at an anti-bullying festival’. After I got a bit older I think I just watched Bottom on repeat for about 5 years.
Kids programmes I loved and that were clearly created by people tripping on LSD... Others worth a mention... Tucker, Benny, Zammo et al
Good point, I hadn't even noticed. It is funnier with Dara though as he just rips the piss out of them
Going for Gold was the ultimate winner stays on quiz show. "Nah ya daft Belgian eejit, everyone knows that the first Lord Mayor of London was Henry Fitz-Ailwin de Londonestone but don't you worry yourself, you'll be back tomorrow and every day this week while the contestants who speak English as their first language answer questions in English about English facts."
Off topic a bit, but what I find interesting with two of those clips (excluding Dr Who) how vessles used within them became real objects in latter life, albeit not that much time after in comparison to some items (see end). For example the space shuttle wasn't rolled out until 1976, yet i would suggest that one if not two of those programmes pre-date that but used similar shaped craft. What made me think of it is when mobile phones first came out....the smaller versions, that had flip tops - comparisons were made to the early Star Trek episodes debuted decades before. It's a simple psychological reason why it comes about, but interesting none the less.
Tiswas mind you watching Sally James crawling round the floor wearing a skin tight leather cat suit may have something to do with my fond memories
