    I went for Solano.

Was torn between him and Beardsley.

    Rob Lee.

Beardsley was better as a striker. He only played in midfield to accomodate Shearer and Ferdinand in the same team......not that I minded this as at least it kept Gillespie out of the team.

I never understood why people loved Solano that much. He was always a bit boring to me

because the year everyone was falling over themselves about Beckham, Nobby actually had more goals and assists

He once campaigned the FA to organise a friendly against Peru in aid of earthquake victims, the FA refused, so Nobby donated loads of his own money instead.

    also, he played the trumpet.

Don't get me wrong, I think he was great off the pitch, I just found him a bit slow and one-footed, and the second is my pet peeve in football. Great guy though, I'll give you that! <ok>
