Just to jump on the 'favourite...' bandwagon, what's your fave football related media?

I'll start off with a DVD I borrowed from my uncle a few months ago which was a good watch - 'Just call me Bobby'. Offered great insight into life at Newcastle while he was in charge and also looked back at his career throughout Europe. Lots of great interviews and was nice to hear Ronaldo and Figo talk about the late great man!

Film wise, Goal I (for Newcastle reasons), Damned United are up there.
Green Street I found ok, and Football Factory annoyed me with Danny Dyer starring in it

Book wise, after hearing good reviews of 'Black and White Daft' from people on here and old 606, I bought and read that and found it a damned good read, so if anyone hasn't read that I can recommend that :)

was just about to say that film joses_left_nut. Wasn't so keen on goal the only thing that really kept me interested was the fact the kid was playing for us.

Its 'The Longest Yard' (Found years ago, or with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock) for football. Basically, Vinnie Jones has been sent down while playing for Wimbledon (i think) and is chosen to manage the cons team. (Bit i was talking about) Danny Dyer is in there, and they use him as the bitch to show all the dirty tactics they can use!
Jason Statham as the MENTAL keeper!*

    Well worth a watch.

    * In case you want to watch it, don't want to give away the plot... Not that it's fantastic!

Great programme, I have it on DVD too, it's the one with Gary Lineker introducing? Funny to see Shearer get a bollocking from SBR using his mobile and SBR keeping the whole squad waiting while he finished his lunch. What a man!

I absolutely love Football Factory but HATE Green Street with a passion.

Ten out of Ten on VHS from the 92/93 season is treasured :)
