Just would like to know what was your all time favourite away game? Mine has to be Mansfield 5-4! being 4-2 down with 10 minutes left, then christian roberts scored a last minute winner :smiley-finger007: wow what a game!!

Reading game 2 years ago by far, 4,000 city fans there, amazing. Won the game 2-0 and Johnson bouncing after the end, priceless.

My memory says we were 4-2 down with 3 minutes to go, Roberts scored the winner in the 3rd minute of injury time. Fantastic match.

However favourite away game was Coventry 1977 - 2-0 down just after half time, came back to draw which ensured our survival in the old 1st Division. Getting on for 20,000 City fans that went mental that Thursday night, other than Wembley was the biggest ever travelling support that I've known.

Coventry away, first season of the championship for us. As they had their new ground and were top of the table yet we went there and put 3 past them which one of a few games under GJ we were 3 goals.

Best part was out numbering their fans

Crystal Palace away 1st leg of the championship play off semi final, Louis Carey scores a "weasel" goal in the 2nd half, looked like we were going away with a 1-0 win, then they get a penalty, Watson scored, bit peed off but a draw would of been a great result......AND THEN.......DAVID NOBLE, hits the ball so sweet, it level speroni left for dead and sends the travelling supporters ****ing mental, But im sure you all know about that

    those were the days

LDV final at Cardiff against Carlisle was a good crack - apart from when that bunch of Cardiff fans jumped our supporters at the train station afterwards.

I haven't been to that many but being an old f**t they are spread over a lot of years! I was at the Arsenal game in our first season back in the old First Div when we won 1-0. I would have said that game but the Arsenal fans put a few bricks through the coach windows on our way out of North London which kind of spoils the memory. Then there was Coventry away when we drew 2-2 and kept ourselves in the First Div. That was amazing. However I have to say overall I agree with Natch - winning at Anfield and geting Souness the sack was sweet!

I agree Liverpool was a great night, funniest bit was when my brother tried to chuck a sausage roll at me and got arrested! The hang over from that one lasted days!

Mine must be on a snowy January day in 1977 or was it '78, when we played West Brom at the Hawthorns. Playing some lovely passing football, which was one of our trademarks in those halcyon day, we took the lead, which put us up to 3rd in the old Division 1, our highest league position since 1909, which I can't remember, ..unfo we lost 3-1, but it represented the pinnacle of our success.

Second must be the Kevin Mabbutt hat-trick v Man U at Old Trafford, in 1978ish... strange though that it wasn't even considered a shock, and even stranger, I managed to escape Old Trafford unscathed.

1st. Aresenal v City 1976 opening day of season. 0:1 The Cheese. 10 Yrs old Clock End.. Marvelous....thanks to Mr Steve Wiltshire (poss not spelt correctly) for taking me. Not seen him for 35yrs.

2nd. Liverpool v City 1994 FA Cup. Thrashed um 0:1 Tins. I Drove the most dodgey Transit ever hired full up with ciderheads. At Eastville roundabout 2 got out as is was so f**ked. Got us there and back and inbetween is the stuff of legends.

3rd. Bradford v City League Cup 1988/89? Beat em fairly and squarely, however, still got attacked by a brick wealding mob, our minibus smashed up and written-off, arrested by South Yorkshire Rosser's, released without charge and ferried home in an AA convoy. Marvelous.
