25/01/2012 by David McIntyre Akos Buzsaky has no doubt QPR team-mate Alejandro Faurlin will bounce back from the knee injury that has ended the Argentineâs season. Faurlin is facing several months on the sidelines with anterior cruciate damage â an injury Buzsaky has himself suffered. And Buzsaky believes Faurlin will be firing on all cylinders in time for the start of next season. âWe are good friends and Iâm going to support him as much as I can. I spoke with him and texted him after his operation,â said Buzsaky. âItâs a good test for a player when youâre out for six months, because you need to be really strong mentally. âBut Ale is a really great guy and Iâm not afraid for him. Heâs going to come back even stronger. âA cruciate injury is now very common. You shouldnât think about stopping after having that injury. Itâs happened with me, happened with Ale, and happened with other people. âIt shouldnât be a big problem for his career. Heâs only 24. Heâll come back for pre-season and next season will be fine. âItâs hard, because afterwards your knee is always going to need some attention and you have to look after yourself. But thatâs part of your career and everyone knows injuries are part of the game.â Faurlinâs injury has been a factor in Buzsakyâs recent re-emergence as a first-team player, which continued with an excellent display in Saturdayâs vital win against Wigan. It means the Hungarian, who expected to leave Loftus Road this month, now has a chance to secure his future at the club. His contract expires at the end of the season, but Buzsaky said: âIâm not thinking long-term at the moment. Iâve just enjoyed the last three games. âItâs great to be back in the team and I donât think about whatâs going to happen in the summer. Itâs not really important.â http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/faurlin-will-bounce-back-says-qpr-star/? A feel good article, good man Akos
Faurlin certainly still has a bright future. I hope the rehab goes well and he is back in contention for the first game of next season.
