Alejandro Faurlin: QPR midfielder recovering well from cruciate ligament injury

Alejandro Faurlin is set to return to Queens Park Rangers, as he continues his rehabilitation from a cruciate knee ligament injury.

The 25-year-old travelled to Spain for treatment after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in an FA Cup tie with MK Dons in January.

He was immediately ruled out for the rest of the season, but manager Mark Hughes says the Argentinian is doing well.

"He's progressing," Hughes told the club's official website. "Ale returned to the club this week, it was good to see him.

"He'll probably go back to Spain for another week next week, but after that he'll be doing his rehab here.

"We're all pleased that he's doing really well."

Happy story to lift the mood. Getting Ali back, now that would be like signing a top player.
