QPR MIDFIELDER Alejandro Faurlin admitted it âfelt greatâ to be back in the Rangers shirt last night for the first time following his Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury. Faurlin played 45 minutes in our 1-0 victory against Rot-Weià Erfurt in Germany, as Harry Redknappâs men kicked off their #RsInGermany tour with a solid performance at the Steigerwaldstadion. The Argentine ace - who returned to full training in the final week of last season - spoke exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk in the wake of his return to action, commenting: âIt was my first 45 minutes since the injury and to be honest with you, it felt great. âMy rehab has been very good and I'm very, very happy to get through the first game back. âI'm really hungry for this season. I just want to enjoy my football. âI've learnt a lot through these injuries. I'm not looking back. I'm carrying on moving forward and I am so excited about the campaign ahead.â Read more at http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/230714-ale-faurlin-on-qpr-pre-season-comeback-1775948.aspx
Not just Ale (that was truly brilliant) but also good to see Frankie Sutherland returning. Frank, in particular, looked in need of a lot more games to reach his pre injury form, but time will deal with that. Also good to see the other youngsters play. I thought Lumley & Doughty were the pick of them.
