It was posted on another board that he said he hopes its only a sprain so I would imagine its the same leg as last time.

Almost relieved as it explains his absences from the 18 rather than Arry not giving him a look in. Hopefully he's back soon especially considering we're probably missing Mbia and Diakite this Saturday as well.

Sorry to pee on your bonfire of relief mate but Ale played in the under 21 game on Monday against Cardiff so i can only presume was after he could of been picked against Villa :(

Yes, he drove off angry before the Villa game started and then must have injured himself in the reserve game or in training. Its the worst of both worlds, Harry doesnt rate him and hed injured.

On balance, Diakite is better IMO. I know he can be a liability too but he really is moderating that. Diakite also presents more of an attacking threat than Ale. It's probably marginal but I think I would choose Diakite if it was my decision. Having said that, Ale is a quality player and committed to QPR which means a lot to most of us.

I love Faurlin but sadly he is out of form at the moment. I see him at the moment as the under study to Granero. I am sure not all the players will rise to the new Manager's instructions and methods I agree with most its all about results here on in if we are to be successful. I sincerely hope Faurlin gets his chance again as well as he discovers his form

The problem with both Ali and Granero is that it's all very well being unselfish, but I'd like both to be bolder about having a shot at goal. We need goals from midfield. When all was lost at West Brom, Granero scored a cracker - but during a competitive match, he seems to lose confidence and lay it off when sometimes it's better to have a go - and Ali similarly.

Agree completely, but it seems to be case among the whole team. So often against Villa we had the ball on the edge of the box but passed out wide instead of having a go. Hopefully Harry can get them to have a go on Saturday.

Even if they do have a go, they seem to hit a soft shot on target just to be safe. This is saved 99 times out of 100 but its an easy way out for them, they need to hammer the shots as they are impossible to hold so its a corner or rebound chance if they can get it on target. Our finishing has been dire for years, only Cisse has any idea of how to strike a ball. Taarabt particularly annoys me with his 25-30 yarders that have the strength of a back pass.

Would love to see a few more having a go at goal. I would feel more encouraged with loads of shots on goal which were not successful, as opposed to lots of possession lost on the wing or through unsuccessful crosses.

Back to op though, and as much as I love Faurlin, it is true he hasn't been on top form this year, and there is greater competition in his position. I can only hope he is inspired to work hard and get back to his best.
