Just had a 5.6 onshore earthquake near here. Very unusual for them to be onshore. Interestingly it did create a Tsunami but only in my swimming pool. Thought it might have been Obi’s flight landing.

Its a fairly unstable area prone to landslides as its in a hilly area with a lot of volcanic soils etc. The houses are fairly ramshackle as well as its not a wealthy area. It wasn’t that strong an earthquake but because it was shallow they tend to do a lot of damage. Sad but one of the consequences of living on top of where two tectonic plates collide.

There was one in front of me in the queue for Costco pizza on Friday night. She ordered a family bundle and two slices to take away and proceeded to pouch the two massive slices whilst she was waiting for her order!
