Who has a father inlaw that makes somebody like Monty seem like a good chap and thinks your not good enough for his daughter?

Thankfully my father inlaw is the complete opposite to the dragon. Hes one of the nicest blokes ive ever met.

I never met him in person..He died shortly after me and our lass met and the nearest I got to him was a wave out of the window when I picked our lass up in the car..Lovely bloke by all accounts though..

As a father- in- law I can confirm that no man is good enough for my Daughter, especially the one she ended up with.

My f in l was a great bloke, showed me how to decorate, wallpaper etc and helped service my car ( this was late 69s early 70s).
Always there to lend a hand IF I asked first, used to take him in his later years to the cenotaphs parades (he landed on D Day and never spoke about it, )I would take him for a couple of pints after the service and he would raise a glass to his mates long gone now (quite apt for this weekend). I do miss that annual ritual.
    A genuinely good bloke.

    Sounds an amazing bloke.
Ive had a lovely afternoon with my grandad today listening to his great war stories. My Grandad was part of the Dam buster squadron. The fact he is such an amazing kind bloke saved his life in the war. As him and his crew were boarding a flight one of the soldiers infront of him had a panic attack so my Grandad took him to one side, calmed him down and signalled to the pilot that theyd get the next flight. The plane he was meant to he on was bombed down about 20 mins later.

Mines approaching his 77th birthday . plays golf on average 6 times a month. Competitive ****er he is and likes a good booze up. As he becomes older, he's becoming posh-er the middle class Tory twat that he is but a great great bloke non the less.

Pickled, not worked or helped the missus for 20 years. She's done incredibly well to pay her mortgage and raise four lovely daughters.
