I genuinely think Billic would have kept them up tbh, they'd had a bad start, but their form was starting to improve under Billic and they were playing well. Allardyce did for West Brom what he did here - dreadful results combined with horrible football. Although the blame is firmly with the West Brom board for appointing him in the first place, he'd had his day and wasn't getting Prem jobs anymore, they unearthed a has-been old knacker and expected him to do what he did well over a decade ago. The Prem has moved on and thankfully left him behind.
