Palarse seem to think that SB will move there, to sort them out.... http://metro.co.uk/2014/08/26/why-c...e-chance-to-return-to-selhurst-park-4846315/? and
Surely they wouldnt want him, he walked out under a cloud before. And that's if he wanted to go, which I massively doubt.
it read more like the chin scratching musings of a trainee journo with no ties to the club whatsoever rather than any real Palace thoughts - though if available im sure he would be near the top of many clubs list
Pulis was smart. He went there last season when they were in dire straights, knowing that if he kept them up he'd be heralded as a genius and if they went down he could reasonably say he inherited a weak squad in a poor league position. With no real transfers over the summer he knew they'd be hard pressed to repeat those wins from the season before and opted out before anyone could label him a failure, with his reputation as a relegation-saver intact. Anyone wanting to go there will need to be looking for the same thing, going to a club in difficult circumstances where keeping them up would be seen as a great job and going down wouldn't be a huge surprise. That probably means someone currently out of work who wants to try and stake a claim for Premier League consideration or someone from the Championship who feels a season in the top flight would help their CV if they can avoid embarrassing defeats. Bruce isn't about to walk out on us to go there with the team he's built, as anyone with sense knows. He could be tempted by the likes of Newcastle if such an opportunity was presented, but you couldn't really blame him if that happened. For some reason most fans of other clubs still see us as a tiny team lucky to be here, and believe they offer better environments, but this one is just delusional.
