Hate to agree with you, Huthy, (see a previous post!) but yes I would accept the results as you have listed and it is a possibility. 2 home PL wins would not put us safe mathematically, however, though we are likely to be helped by the likes of Wolves and QPR. We should get through vs Crawley but maybe not by 3-0 and to get past Valencia would be brilliant. It's just that current bad run is spooking me and we are too negative in our approach of late. Let's start playing the game in the opposition's half rather than ours. Anyway let's hope your 'predictions' come good. If so, I for one, would be very happy.
That would be fantastic Huthy, but the negativity at present is steam rolled by results (or lack off) coupled with what "some" fans percieve to be ****e football! I dont want us to get relegated and I would love us to progress into the latter stages of Europe and the FA Cup - but to what end? To be having the same conversation next year about our style, results and manager? For me (and I have felt this way for along time) its time for a change and maybe.. (Just maybe) a skin of the teeth save to our season would just be the right dose of wake up and smell the coffee Mr Coates and some fans (newbies) need? On a seperate not (and I'm not having a dig) where do you actually stand on the TP issue? You are highly critical (constructively) yet you appear generally to advocate that TP is the right man for the job in the long haul. Is this the case and if so why? Like I say, not having a dig just curious and always good to get a full understanding of everyone's views so you can make an informed decession yourself. I am running out of faith & dont trust in TP......

Smithers look at our results since we came too the promised land, we allways have 2 blips per season, where supporters wonder where the next result is coming from but the manager has allways turned it around. Even though at times i find his tactics/formations/players out of position absolutely baffling, the guy has got us this far & the guy deserves a chance ( to rectify in SCFC's fans eyes ), to fulfill his ambition of what direction , he wants this club too achieve. Just ****ing give the guy a chance & see what actually evolves.
Valid points on the blips and to be fair most teams have them. It just feels sometimes that ours is self inflicted and this is a result of poor preperation - by that I mean the points you have noted, players/positions/tactics..etc. For me its not what the man has, has not, will or won't achieve - its more the attitude and whether or not I feel he is a fit for the club I support and love. I (and I assume you along with alot of other bloggers on here) will have noticed a shift in the atmosphere and type of supporters at the Brit and that for me refelcts a general (how vague I dont know) shift in the perception and support of our team. That shift is old to new, which means the fans that supported the team as a struggling championship outfit (or lower) are not there. Thats my worry/concern/feeling, and whilst I pray for the results you have suggested I am petrified that we will just get a stay of excution and the season will just merge into next and we will wonder where the time has gone - the only constant (apart from the style of play) will be TP's attitude and the rotation of fans - such a shame!
Oh I get it, we have been playing (loose terminology) complete dross for weeks, just to lure Valencia and co into a false sense of security. I don't know what you've been drinking Huthy but can I have a pint!!
