Some rumours that DS is looking for striker reinforcements in January. We will have to pay handsomely for a reliable quality player, but do we have the money or will we be selling to buy?

Think it depends where we are in January. If we're still in with a fighting chance, I could see us spending some money, if we're cut adrift, then doubtful.

Aarons is angling for a move I think, make £30m there and we'll have the funds for a striker.

In all the euphoria of winning two successive games let's not forget that Brentford could have been the turning of the corner not yesterday. It's great that Dean Smith has hit the ground running and I have no doubt that he is a good manager and might yet prevent relegation. I would point out though that in both games we won our goals expected was lower than our opponents. Could the missing factor here be Krul?

Based on yesterday, Id say let Cantwell go to raise some funds. But then again, based on yesterday, we won't get much for him.

We won't be spending much unless we get another 10/12 pts between now and Jan. We need to be at least half way to our goal (36-40pts) for Webber to gamble our funds imo
