Only if you judge a player purely on stats~!

Earnshaw scores goals but apart from at the lower levels, it's not beneficial to the team, which is why his teams have never achieved anything. There's a reason teams keep selling him and why he finds himself on Forest's bench.

How can scoring goals be anything other than beneficial? I'm honestly intrigued.
 
I'll have a go at demonstrating what I think he meant.

You have 3 strikers.
1 scores a goal every game.
The other two each score 1 every 2 games and set up 2 goals a game for midfielders.

Playing 442, is it beneficial to the team to select the striker that scores the most goals?
