FAO Mick- Malta, any good for a holiday?

    Have a chance to go to silema for a break. Any good? Would you recommend it?

    Would indeed recommend Sliema - depends on what you want though, if your looking for a Spanish resort type holiday where all the buildings are there for the sole purpose of tourism that is not what you will get - you're getting crowded residential streets, a bit gritty but plenty of character.

    If you have the option I'd try push further into the neighbouring town of St Julians (or at least be on the edge of Sliema beside St Julians) because it's much better for night life and restaurants. You can always get into St Julians in about 15 mins walk anyway though. I'm in St Julians at the minute.

    Cheers lad. Have a chance to go now and back in october. What's the weather like in October there? Still hot? Or average?

    Averages about 25c in October so still swimming weather.
