I haven't read a good word said about the bloke on here to be honest yet he is just as much of a fan as anybody else is who supports Charlton. I am not doubting that he can go on and on sometimes and restrictions have to be put in place to counter that but juts look what he has gone and done...........He's shut the lot of us up because his book has turned out to be real after all and it's real because he had the desire and energy not to mention the love for his team to go out and do something that he wanted to do. As a result of his efforts, Jon if your reading this your ban on intothevalley has been lifted, and I think it's time to lift his ban on here too to be honest. Yes he does post a lot of nonsense but if we were all as passionate as he is maybe we would all have a Christmas best seller on the shelves aswell. He's not so daft after all is he?
I'm not really interested in it anyway and the ban was because he volunteered to stick to one thread and then kept on creating others on irrelevant subjects annoying many posters including myself. Many people write books so it's not such a big thing or articles about the Club. I do remember seeing your anger and diatribes at his postings on your site so consistency isn't the key on there then.
The fella deserves a second chance so he's got one. To get a book published nowadays is an achievement in itself so maybe he deserves a little bit of credit or is that too much to ask?
I think you've jumped in two footed without being too aware IMO. Aren't we the only site that has actually kept him on and tried effortlessly to assist him with bedding in? His ban (which I think he will agree was fair), was simply down to breaking rules that he set himself. It was a 7 day ban, not permanent... Can I ask why he was banned from intothevalley and for how long? Talking about CAFC was never a problem - members showed frustration when it was 3 separate threads in 5 minutes about Ronnie Wood etc. We then gave him his own personal thread. Don't see how he has been hard done by being honest. As for no good words being spoken on here about him - well, I'll let you trawl through all the threads and extend that humble pie from John's book to making an irrational comment
Thanks reams i would love to come back on your site if you can let me register without the error message keep popping up!its taken a lot of hard work re the book i think i deserve a nice holiday now im not profating from the book -im putting something back into cafc its cost up to £5000 which my family have helped with, to put together but its money well spent in my view as i wanted to give something back to cafc to a charity of their choice and photos charlton fans can treasure during our time in the prem so im finally starting see some light at the end of the tunnel so im hoping with the club twitter report that they will put it in the shop for around christmas time,i have a lot of respect for cafc fans everyone has helped me sort of grow up and ive felt ive grown up better and a better person now so i would like to thank everyone for that i love the club im charlton through and through
every copy the club sell a quid will go straight back into the club either for youth development or to the club itself so the more copies fans buy the more the club will make some money
Reams you are coming across as a bit of a kettle roaster to be honest, yes there were some AckAck bashers that joined after he appeared on here, but even they started to reign it in with his apologies and the support others showed him, there has not been happy he's banned thread on here like there has on intothevalley, maybe 10% of here will blindly support him as they love his enthusiasm, I am one of these, and 10% are just opposed to him in general, but the rest take things on a current behaviour basis, so stop trying to woo him back, we love our AckAck and your poaching attempts are as squirrel washingly rectangular as West Ham's re Defoe, you double creamed toaster mashing earwig, no offence.
tell u the truth im shattered its taken a lot out of me doing this project,its taken 3-4 years put together ,its a lot of hard work which i dont think people realise how much hard work it took,basically it went back and forth to the printers on layouts etc etc and was the cost of it as well ie printing just have to ask ponders on this ,u also have to register at libary get isbn number and other issues i think once i put the original script together it was quite easy put together after.I would love to write something on the who next at the valley so if any fans have photos they can send me that be great.

As for not606, your ban was lifted a few days ago as I understand. The same rules apply about your thread- but we will allow you to promote the book upon release on a separate thread if you will sign a personalised copy for IA. Or maybe a signed 6x8 photo.. He isn't fussy
Well not really, many people get books published on subjects even though the web is the more common media for communication, sadly, these days. I don't see the point in slating fans on here who stick to the rules only to then find the board cluttered with a mish mash of posts and threads when the poster offered and I stress offered to post all his articles on the one thread in the first place. I find your comments about 2nd chance highly hippocritical when you yourself did exactly that then expressed your extreme anger in a very long post and then your other posters got fed up with the clutter on your site. It seems to me that you want to reinstate him for your own populist reasons not that I would want to post on your site anyway.
Nobody's asking anybody to post on intothevalley, nobody is doing any poaching either, if I was I would try somewhere a bit busier to be honest? I would go on but judging by some of the comments on here it's difficult to take some of you seriously. Goodnight off to bed now to read a good book!!

It's fine. You've shown yourself to smell of desperation. JA is banned from your site, but once you realise he is releasing a book his ban is lifted? Where is the logic?
